Chris Stewart
Chris is the founder and principal consultant at SQE Solutions. Chris has extensive experience in the development and management of Safety, Quality and Environmental (SQE) systems and processes that conform to relevant standards and legislative requirements for the electrical, mining, agricultural and infrastructures sectors. Chris has developed skills through more than 15 years’ practical SQE experience and with tertiary qualifications within Environmental and Safety fields. Chris has demonstrated great success in identifying opportunities within companies to improve safety management and culture that have contributed to organisational success. Chris has worked with companies to customise SQE systems and processes to ensure they meet the specific requirements of the industry and are cost effective to implement and manage. Chris has had great success in coaching and mentoring field workers, supervisors, management teams and business owners to strategically manage the HSEQ function within a business and ensure implementation of systems and process that are sustainable and align with technological advances.
Hugh Stone
Hugh joined SQE Solutions in July of 2023 as a Joint Director & Principal Consultant. Hugh is an outcomes focused Safety, Quality & Environment (SQE) professional with 24 years of operational, technical and leadership experience in high-risk industries (Construction materials, Mining & Quarrying, Transport, Engineering & Fabrication, Asset Maintenance, Forestry/Land Management, & Electricity Distribution). Hugh has held executive and senior management roles in government and public listed companies and been directly accountable for profiling, managing, and reducing SQE risk. Hugh understands the challenges associated with implementing SQE systems and processes that are compliant and strategically sound, yet operationally effective and efficient. His diverse experience with high-risk operations, complex work, real life system and process implementation, and leading high performance teams underpins his ability to offer targeted solutions focused on improving the safety of work, the quality of products and services and effective environmental management.
Dean Manning
Joined SQE Solutions in July of 2022 as a Joint Director & Principal Consultant. Dean has an extensive 23 years’ experience in the Power Industry within both Queensland & Victoria and holds Electrical work licences for Electrical Fitter/Mechanic and Distribution Linesperson in both states. Dean’s previous role as a Director & Operations Manager of a Linework Construction business afforded him the opportunity to broaden his experience and knowledge around Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements within the Construction industry. Dean has demonstrated that building and sustaining a high-performance team and organisational culture can provide strong change to Safety and Quality outcomes for businesses. Dean’s history from a field-based perspective allows him to promote cultural improvement, implement change and provide coaching to others with careful consideration given to workers, supervisors, management teams and business owners.
